This is a nice pony toy that responds to sound and touching. It turns its head toward voice or sound. The included carrot can be put in the mouse, so it pretends eating it. Kids can ride on the back, then touching at the hip triggers galloping sound. The body is very stable and safe when a kid is on the back. It would be nice if the patterns of movement are more variable.
Ponies can be a lot of hard work; feeding them, cleaning them, making sure theyre cared for. But plush ponies dont need much work at all; make sure their batteries are charged. Its a nice way to finally say "Yes" next time your kid asks for a pony! Butterscotch can move her eyes, ears, head and tail. She whinnies, snorts and will even sniff you. Be warned, however, she doesnt actually walk...

I purchased this product for my son to give to his daughter, 4 years old for Christmas. I really thought it was cute but should do a lot more than what it does for what this item costs!
